I truly recommend Dru’s Place, with freshly made delicious food that everyone enjoyed. The atmosphere is open, easy-going and sentimental. The food, from the daily special to the fried fish, shrimp poboy and hamburger steak, was cooked perfectly; we all cleaned our plates!
The drive to Convent is pleasant and nostalgic, and the restaurant’s charm also evokes a sense of nostalgia, and, I believe, leaving you eager to return. Grab a friend or two soon and ya’ll decide to have lunch over there. It’s worth the trip. And, if Dru is there when you go, do your best to give her a hug; her million-dollar smile is a gift, and in return, you’ll gain a dear friend whose presence will lift your spirits.
